Shorshe Maach Bengali Style Mustard Fish Curry - Recipes by Surya

It has been around 5 months since I am living in kolkata, kolkata is a place where you will find diverse festivals one among them is "PUJO" (I was not knowing that in kolkata Dusshera is know as Pujo till one of my friend told me on instagram...So that was a funny part).

Keeping the jokes apart let's talk about the food, so kolkata has lots of recipes to share with and believe me, In these five months I have became a fan of the bengali dishes, So in this blog post I will be talking about Shirsh Maach Recipe..

Shorshe Maach Recipe (Bengali Mustard Fish Curry) is a famous fish curry made with mustard paste. The fish is lightly pan fried on the tawa and it is soaked in the mustard sauce. This will help the fish to absorb the curry and gives a unique flavor to the dish.

Typically, the fish curry is made with "hilsa" fish which is locally available in Kolkata, this dish is a twist with seer fish. It is also prepared during festival season to bring a richness in the meal.

So this was my brief outlook of the recipe( rather you can say recipe intro )

So now it's time for us to begin with the Recipe.
